Description: The Picture Collections publishes pictures from a period of a hundred years, in the Flickr photo sharing service. There are altogether 700 pictures. The pictures are primarily meant for the use of school children and teachers. There are pictures from each decade of the 20th century. The pictures are also categorised into themes. The themes include technology, transport, the exercise of power, accommodation, school children, fashion and design, art and artists, work, multiculturality and food.
