Hack4 FI 2018 basic info

Hack4FI – Hack your heritage cultural hackathon gathers together a diverse group of coders, designers, cultural heritage institutions, educators, artists, graphic designers and others interested in open culture to create something new out of open digital cultural heritage materials.

Hack4FI was held for the first time in 2015 at Aalto Media Factory, putting Finnish open digital cultural heritage data and content to use.

The fourth Hack4FI hackathon will take place over the weekend of October 5-7th 2018 at Helsinki City Museum. The hackathon is supported by The Finnish Heritage Agency (Museovirasto, Innovatiiset avustukset) and Helsingin Sanomien Foundation.

The program starts at 14:00 on Friday the 5th and ends on Sunday the 7th at 17:00.
Friday evening party kicks off at 9 p.m. and is supported by Coolhead Brew
Public presentations are held on Sunday from 15:00-17:00.
