FIWARE webinar 2.3.

Do you want to hear more about FIWARE technologies and learn how to use them for your ‪#‎Hack4FI‬ project to improve your chances in succeeding in the Creative Ring Challenge!

The Creative Ring Challenge offers a free webinar on March 2, 2016 at 16:00-17:00 (Finnish time +2 GMT). In the webinar you will learn how to make use of FIWARE offerings and technologies through concrete cases and examples. You will also have the possibility to ask questions and have assistance from the FIWARE expert Toni Alatalo who will also host the webinar. The participation requires registration.

In the Creative Ring Challenge you can win up to 50.000 euros to develop your idea further if the solution has business potential and you are using at least one FIWARE enabler. Read more about Creative Ring Challenge Helsinki.

Sata naista Wikipediaan 8.3.

Sata naista Wikipediaan on Wikipedia-muokkaustapahtuma, joka järjestetään naistenpäivänä 8.3.2016 klo 12-19 Helsingin yliopiston kirjastossa Kaisa-talossa. Tapahtuman tavoitteena on lisätä Wikipediaan tietoa eri alojen naisvaikuttajista. Tapahtuman toteuttavat yhteistyössä kymmenen muistiorganisaatiota ja Wikimedia Suomi. Sata naista Wikipediaan on Suomen tähän asti suurin Wikipedia-muokkaustapahtuma. Huom! Tapahtumaan on ennakkoilmoittautuminen.

Business Model and Pitching workshop 21.3.

Welcome to the effective afternoon to learn how to create a business and revenue model with Lean Canvas method and to learn how to present your case in 5 minutes. Lean Canvas is a tool for outlining multiple possible business models easily and keeping your business plan updated. In the workshop you will learn how to use the canvas in practice with your own idea.

The second part of the work shop is dedicated to presenting skills. When you only have a few minutes to make an impression it’s important to be able to tell your story clearly. If you want to make the most out of the workshop and to receive feedback please prepare to tell about your idea in 5 minutes with slides.
