Description: The dataset consist of objects from a 29-year-old prisoner’s cell which was included to the Prison museum collection when Hämeenlinna prison closed in 1993. The whole collection of cell 12 contains the prisoner’s personal belongings as well as the prison’s property. The prisoner already had nine prior convictions of assaults, thefts, robberies and traffic violations. His latest sentence, of some three years, he completed at his own request, in a prison near his home after Hämeenlinna prison closed.
